The Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (DICT) is a pre-degree qualification in IT, which enriches students with the skills required to face the increasing demands from the industries.

DICT Programme covers a broad range of areas in Information and Communication Technology and the course curriculum includes both practical and theoretical aspects of IT knowledge. Students will have the potential of problem solving skills and logical reasoning as well as intensive fieldtrips to be exposed them to the real world in IT.

Entry requirements

  • i. Passed Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent to getting at least Three (3) credits including subjects Mathematics;

Or

  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) equivalent with at least 1 full pass in any subject with credit in Mathematics SPM subjects

Or

  • Recognized Computer Certificate or equivalent;

Or

  • A recognized Technical/Vocational Certificate or equivalent with one (1) year of relevant work experience or one (1) semester of a transitional program.

Or

  • Other or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
